What's With The Blog?

This blog will be about different topics! But mostly I prefer food! I would do my best to regularly update this as I create new recipes. I love to explore different ingredients, cook them together and recreate or come up with new dishes.


Pampanga is my home province ever since I was born. Our province has the pride of 'Culinary Capital of The Philippines'. I believe that the reason behind getting that title is our meticulous preparation and cooking of our main dishes. The careful selection of right ingredients for dishes. The perfect estimation and measurement of condiments, the complimentary ingredients that perfectly fit each others aroma and flavor. 


I'm so proud that I was born and raised here in our province, and of course, the blood that runs through my veins is authentically a 'Cabalen' - people who were born, raised and has a blood of Pampango ethnicity - in my point of view. Because as for now, at the age of 20, I'm starting to find myself getting involve with this kind of passion. The passion for cooking, I treat cooking as an art. I cook from my heart and pushed by the desire of creating delicious dishes. I love it when my family, friends or whosoever close to me give compliments to my dishes. I love cooking for people I love or the ones who are so interested with my recipes. 


I don't have my signature dish yet, mostly they're only recreations with new twists. I wish I had the copies of images of my recreations I created before I learned that there is Blogspot. I wish I just kept them for future blogging. But now, I'm eager to create my own recipes, I just don't take credits right away to my dishes. I make sure that they don't resemble dishes from places I have never been to. So I call them recreations instead of calling them my own.


Anyway, to be straight to the point. I will do my best to update this blog regularly so I can share some recipes you can cook in your own and have it taste personally. 


Please bear with me if there are some typos, grammar mistakes and other literal problems. I hope you'll enjoy the dishes as you try to cook them too.
P.S. Sometimes, I will cook dishes other than Kapampangan's Pride Dishes.
